3D Drawing installations attempt to confirm the human side of religion and draw comparisons to how, like architectural buildings, the practice of religion itself is a human construct. Each side of a contemporary church is drawn in graphite and acrylic glazes to create a transparent, cropped, one-point perspective drawing. These are attached to acrylic brackets to create a three dimensional structure. The houses are lit from within using sound-sensitive lights that fluctuate with sounds of applause, human voice and/or breathe to simulate feelings of fervor, celebrity and human-ness; a pulsating organism from within the building’s architectural skin.
